UF Rejects!!

Yes, the title represents my favorite cheer that I chant so proudly when UF beats FSU - especially when it's in my favorite sport (college basketball).  Nice try, FSU.  The Seminoles were successful in setting the pace of yesterday's basketball game in the first half, but not so much in the second half.  Young and Beal had enough foolishness from the fools at FSU, and that was the game.  GO GATORS!!

So I know I've been bad about updating lately - but my semester at NYU is finally over.  All I have to say is: Santa got my letter.  No more Brantley, no more Weis.  THANK YOU.

It's not fair that Florida has to play Ohio State in the Gator Bowl because of the stupid publicity over Urban Liar.  This game has nothing to do with the players and it's not fair to them.  But GO GATORS - make me proud!!!!!  I'm picking LSU in the title game for reasons I've stated all season.  Unfortunately there is really no reason to discuss any other bowl games because this year .....there is a serious lack of talented teams.  Houston disappointed me.  Oklahoma State-Stanford might be exciting.  But none of these games matter.

More importantly....it is basketball season.  Right now the Gators look like Memphis in 2008.  They're a serious threat, but they can't hit free throws.  Billy, focus on this in the coming weeks, and Florida could be a serious threat in the tournament.

For now, I couldn't be more excited.  Usually I talk about Gator games like they're these foreign events, but I will actually be at the next Florida Gator basketball game.  The downside? They play my home team - the Rutgers Scarlet Knights.  Sorry Scarlet - I'm all about the orange and blue on Thursday.  Florida Basketball - FANTASTIC!!
